Volunteer Opportunities

Administrative:

Marketing -- We are  in need of an organization or individual willing to assist with the  marketing and advertising of all our programs.

Educational: 

Mentors & Tutors - Assist children that need educational assistance in the areas of:

  • English

  • History

  • Math

  • Science 

 Athletic Coaches:

Criminal background check required!

 Required to handle team administration responsibilities.

  • Basketball

  • T-Ball--

  • Softball/Baseball  (Girls or Co-ed)  -- Ages 8-10, 11-12, 13-14

  • Track: (Girls or Co-ed) -- Ages 8-10, 11-12, 13-14

 Support Volunteer Positions:

Oversee concession stand -- Assist in running snack area serving youth and game spectators

Employment Opportunities

All positions require a criminal background check!

Computer Teacher

  • Contract workers rate is based on number of students enrolled -- six (6) week sessions

  • Able to teach the basics of DOS, Windows, Word and Excel

  • Paid half at three (3) weeks and remainder of balance at the end of program.

  • Supply own materials -- EFASC will make copies

 Etiquette Teacher

  • Able to teach young ladies and young men (ages vary) about attitude, hygiene and proper etiquette in reference to eating, greeting, and proper ways to conduct ones self

  • Contract workers rate is based on number of students enrolled -- Six (6) week sessions.

  • Paid half at three (3) weeks and remainder of balance at the end of program 

  • Programs will be taught in the Kansas City School District extended day program or on Saturdays during athletics program.  (Days are negotiable)

  • Supply own materials -- EFASC will make copies
